25th Anniversary 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

All aboard for the 20th Annual N-Scale Weekend Train Show at the Blair County Convention Center! Explore more than 30,000 square feet of model railroading, featuring 14+ operating layouts, more than 180 vendor tables, and educational clinics covering modeling techniques and skills.

The show runs Saturday from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m.–3 p.m. Admission is $8 for an adult day pass or $12 for the weekend, with children 12 and under admitted free with a paid adult.

Angelic Wellness Festival

The Angelic Wellness Festival returns as an expanded two-day regional community festival from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Legion Memorial Park in Hollidaysburg. The free-admission festival will feature more than 130 participating vendors, artisans, food trucks, specialty foods, live music, demonstrations, nonprofit organizations and interactive experiences. Saturday will feature the festival’s largest vendor marketplace, bubble entertainment and parade, a stilt walker, pony rides, yoga, line dancing and live entertainment. Sunday will serve as Family Adventure Day, featuring princesses, a superhero, a mermaid, petting zoo, face painting, gem mining, free balloon animals, spin art and the Kids Zone. Blair Martial Arts demonstrations and classes, Falon’s Kindness Walk, a children’s treasure hunt and rock painting will be offered throughout the weekend.

Admission is free. Parking is $5 per vehicle.

Forest Bathing at NatureWorks Park

Murder on the Orient Express

The Altoona Community Theatre presents Murder on the Orient Express at the historic Mishler Theatre.
